The second weekend of
Fully Committed is under way. Last night was sold out, and it looks like tonight will be the same! The local paper had some nice things to say: "a sharply acted production" and "a head-long rush." More extra curtain calls, more standing ovations . . . we could get used to this.
I have given up, for the time being, learning how to use "Sketch-Up." So I'm playing around with making a white model of the set for
Mauritius. Still rough, but I can see things in three dimensions now.

Well, it's a start.

Next week, I go looking for furniture and props. Anyone know where I can get a used counter, used shelving, other used retail equipment? Probably not . . . I'm going to have to build it. It's fun to imagine all of the things that are going to happen in this space.
